About Joey

Hi, I'm Joey Ingelhart — co-founder of Filming for Charity, founder of Hartsy.AI, and a visual storyteller who has been chasing great light since I was a kid growing up in Colorado.

Photography grabbed me early. Long before I had any real gear, I was drawn to the way a single frame could stop time and make someone feel something. By my teenage years, that obsession evolved into filmmaking — and I knew I'd found my calling. Story, motion, emotion — all of it clicked.

That creative fire has taken me a long way. As an exclusive photographer for Getty Images and iStock, I channel that same eye for visual storytelling into work that truly matters. That same drive has taken me into the field doing missions work with Operation for Freedom, an anti-human trafficking organization — because some stories don't just deserve to be told, they demand it.

That belief in the power of story is also what drives Filming for Charity, where we help nonprofits bring their world-changing missions to a wider audience through film.

All of those threads — the lens, the mission, the faith, the curiosity — eventually converged into founding Hartsy.AI, a marketing business built to help brands grow through smart, story-driven strategy. It's the natural next chapter of everything I've spent my career learning.

Now based in Salt Lake City with my wife and three kids, I bring Colorado roots, a filmmaker's instincts, and an entrepreneur's drive to every project I take on.
